Police seeks help to identify suspect burglars in Srinagar

Jammu and Kashmir police has sought help to identify a group of thieves who were caught in CCTV footage involved in a burglary case in the down town city, a police spokesman said on Tuesday.
He said police Station Nowhatta received a written complaint from one Mohammad Aamir Malik son of Ghulam Hassan Malik, resident of Deviangun Hawal, Srinagar that some thieves broke into his mobile shop situated at Gojwara Nowhatta during the intervening night of July 3 and 4.-2020 and have stolen some mobile phones from his shop.
On the receipt of this complaint case FIR No. 33/2020 U/S 457, 380 IPC was registered and investigation taken up.
During the course of investigation, Investigation Officer (IO) of the case got the CCTV footage, wherein the pictures of suspects have been obtained for identification.
General public is requested that in case of any information or clue regarding the identity of the suspects, kindly inform Police Station Nowhatta.
The name of the person providing any clue or information regarding the suspected thieves will be kept confidential, he said.
