Srinagar Police on the directions of SSP Srinagar launched a special drive against the tippers, trucks using pressure horns in the city particularly during night hours.

Police in Srinagar have received lot of complaints from general public that pressure horns are being used by heavy vehicles thereby causing public nuisance & deafening sound which gives sleepless nights to the residents.
Accordingly, special checking points were laid down during the night hours at different places and 07 tippers were seized by Police Station Shergahri & Batmaloo & the pressure horns were removed as per the directions of Hon’ble High Court.
General public in the area has appreciated Srinagar Police for taking actions against the violators.
