Psychological fallout in the shadow of clampdown

October 29, 2019 | Sheikh Arshid Ahmad

Unexpectedly and unhesitatingly the major decision took by central government in revoking the special statues of Kashmir has back dropped pang of conscience among the Kashmiri people along with the turbulence and hellish situation.
The Kashmir aboriginally based on the feeling of love and peace along with the atmosphere full of resplendent, colorful and fragrant nature. Allah has bestowed this valley with lush greenery, luxuriant forests, plains and murmuring water flows through cannals, rivers, streams and springs. Every human being regardless any caste or religion without any turbulent desire has enjoyed the natural beauty and restless pleasure and feeling the sense of heavenly abode. Sublimity, sanctity and the tranquility are the realm of Kashmir and never mirrored or outlook such kind of worrying and tumultuous situation.
When the dawn opens everyone aiming and hoping that something new positive and pleasant moments are going to happen but throughout the day not a single ray of hope is looking to sooth our life , this remains procuring up to the dusk and feeling breathing dead bodies. So darkness of dismay prevails at every side and every body is planning a hope that people of Kashmir might be removed from this agnostic period.
However, Govt is taking every possible way to clam down the tumult and requested all stakeholders to cooperate for consummation of peace and prosperity. The Govt is desiring to increase the economic development , reducing corruption and ensuring peace and prosperity but people are looking emotionally broken and don’t understand how they can come back to the track again.
School, colleges and universities are looking deserted and students are looking restless and wavered at the crush time of Exam and this has badly impacted the education system.
This panic has gone deep viciously as the central government is incessantly planning something new so a total frenzied atmosphere has been created. Governor in glaucomatous manner is trying to clear the air by saying that the future of Kashmir is going to tread on the path of progress and development but dubious and unexpected plans has left people anxious and misunderstood.
Most importantly fallout of 5th August is that students are psychologically disturbed and to numb their tension and suppression they are involved in drug addiction even the number of opposite genders have raised alarmingly. This can put negative and eerie influence over the dynamic status and life style among the individuals of Kashmir.
To deal with this commotion and distraction all stakeholders need to come on a single table to find out the result oriented solution so that at least the kashmiri can be removed from continuous enchainment.
