The Revenue Officers of Srinagar Administration today organized a heartfelt farewell function in honour of outgoing District Magistrate (DM) Dr Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat, who has been posted as Deputy Commissioner Budgam.
The event was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioners Mir Imtiyaz Ul Aziz and Aadil Fareed, Chief Planning Officer Fayaz Ahmad Dar, ACR Umar Gulzar, SDMs Zubair Ahmad and Irfan Bahadur, and all Tehsildars of the district.

Notable achievements during his tenure included restoration and digitization of revenue maps of 40 estates—some missing for decades—and launching tech-driven platforms like e-Arzi and WhatsApp chatbots. His efforts have paved the way for cleaner, more transparent land transactions in Srinagar.

The function concluded with a warm send-off and tokens of appreciation presented to Dr Bilal, marking an emotional farewell to a widely respected administrator.
