Social media user booked for offensive post

Jammu and Kashmir Police said that it registered a case against an individual for posting objectionable content against women folk of a particular community on social-media.
"Srinagar Police takes cognizance against an individual for posting objectionable/provocative content against women folk of a particular community on social media platform X," the Police said in a statement.
"FIR No 14/2024 under relevant sections of law stands registered in PS Rainawari & investigation initiated by Srinagar Police," the police said.
