Spring is one of the most mesmerizing, endowed, luscious, and alluring seasons in the Kashmir Valley. Spring attracts millions of tourists from all corners of the world and caters to their natural beauty. Not only spring, but all four seasons in Kashmir Valley are so endowed and sensuous for the tourists and also for the natives of the valley. The spring season starts from the 21st of March to the 21st of June, or, I can say, from the arrival of Navroz. In Kashmir Valley, the farmers start planting trees, grafting, and farming land, mostly in all parts of the valley, with the arrival of spring. Spring has great and immense importance for the farmers in Kashmir.

Orchard owners start fumigating their orchids during this season with different pesticides, etc. All around us, we can see blossoms on trees. The growth of plants starts again. Every little to big tree looks whitish, golden, red, brown, etc. due to the blossoms. This season brings beauty to gardens. As all the flowers, trees, and plants look so mesmerizing and beautiful, we can see that all the flowering trees and plants are quite fresh and alive due to their outlook.
Every season in the valley is so endowed, which attracts tourists from all corners of the world, provides them with a truly beautiful environment, and makes them feel joyful and freshens their thoughts.
Why is spring so special for natives and foreign tourists?
Asia's largest Tulip Garden is in the lap of the Zabarwan Mountains and attracts millions of tourists every year. Tulip Garden opens for tourists every year since the arrival of spring and remains open for a month or more, depending on the bloom of tulips. Tulip Garden is emerging year after year. The floriculture department introduces new varieties and keeps all the possible facilities available for tourists in the garden. Tulip Garden looks artificial, but no one can deny that every bit of land in the area is quite real and natural. Tulip Garden is sensuous and beautiful; everyone who falls in love with its endowed beauty wants to spend his precious moments and capture beautiful memories with the camera.
Not only tulip gardens, but there are a number of Mughal gardens here in Kashmir that were built and designed by the Mughal Empires. The gardens are Nishat, Shalimar, Chashma Shahi, Pari Mahal, Harvan, and Verinag (Verinag spring is the origin of the Jhelum river in the valley) in district Anantnag, and there are so many beautiful and historical shrines, masjids, and temples in Kashmir that tourists like to come here. The shrines like Dargah Hazratbal, Shrine of Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jeelani (RA) at Khanyar, Sarai Bala, Shrine of Sheikh Noor ud Din Wali (RA) at Charari Shareef, and Shrine of Sheikh Syed Ali Hamdani in the down town area of Srinagar (Sringar is the summer capital of Kashmir), the shrine of Sultan Ul Arifeen in the down town area, etc. Shakara Chariya Temple in Sringar is a famous and historical place for tourists that can be visited throughout the year in the valley.
