According to my personal opinion, suicide cases are increasing in Kashmir due to the lack of patience and due to the lack of Islamic knowledge in people. As we know that nowadays Kashmir is busy with the dead bodies of suicide victims. The reason behind every suicide case may be different, but what I want to say is that what compels this future of Kashmir to end up their lives in such a way in which they leave their parents helpless and the most important thing that they kill their own dreams forever. I came to the point that people have problems in their lives which doesn't mean that they will end up their lives in such a drastic and disastrous way.

According to our religion (Islam), suicide is totally Haram because the giver of life (Al Muhyee) and the taker of life (Al Mumeet) both are the attributes to Almighty Allah (SWT).The time when a person commits suicide he/she takes the power of Allah in his/her own hands. As Almighty Allah (SWT) mentions in Quran Chapter 4, verse 29 "And don’t kill yourselves, surely Allah is the most merciful to you". Allah also says that your life is a bailment of mine to you and you are not allowed to harm it.
Related to it ,Abu Huraira narrates that Prophet (SAW) said ; " He who commits suicide by hanging himself shall be hanging till the day of judgment and in the same way the one who commits suicide by stabbing will be stabbing himself till and same and will be in hellfire forever".
(Sahi-Al-Bukhari Volume :2 book23 verse 446).
In this present era of materialism, the three major causes of suicide are drugs, Mobile phones and late marriage.

Drugs

Drug addiction is the major problem in our society. As we are aware that youth of Kashmir is being deceived from the path on which his religion has directed him to walk on. Most of the boys are involved in drug addiction. They have addicted themselves of drugs, alcohol etc. Suppose a person is suffering from depression and now to control this pain he/she is taking drugs. When he/she takes a drugs and gets relief from the pain he/she thinks of taking it in more quantities .When they don't get another dose of it they suffer from a shooting pain and when pockets are empty and the pain is increasing. That time a person thinks that suicide is better than this pain. But they don't know that the pain they are suffering from will take them to commit suicide. And where they will be forever.

Mobile Phones

Mobile phones no doubt by its technology has made life very easier but alike coin everything has two sides ,in the same way mobile phones are also having a lot of disadvantages which are helping the world to lead towards destruction. As everyone is aware that nowadays students are attending online classes, effecting their health badly. From the day phones became smart, world started heading towards destruction.

Late Marriage

It is rightly said that choosing your partner is choosing your future .It generally means that the life partner one chooses and the way he/she treats you is your future. And the one who chooses its partner itself is itself responsible for its future. No doubt, its all about luck but sometimes decision made in emotions often leads to the end of peace and beginning of destruction. In the same way, parents are also equally responsible for the suicide of married girls. Because mostly parents marry their daughters in riches on the greed of money without knowing their moral values. Now in this situation, i request parents not to marry their daughters with beasts. And if unfortunately she is married stop thinking about the society and get her divorced because a divorced daughter is better than a dead one. And now in conclusion, i would request the folk of Kashmir not to end up their lives, just believe in Allah, keep expectations from Him and you will never be disappointed. Indeed He is the most merciful.
