A man 62, years old, who has never been pinned down (defeat) by his foes untill he achieved his martyrdom on 3rd January 2020, was a Shadow Commander, General Qasim Solaimani. He was born and brought up in the village of Qanat-e-Malek, in Kerman province, on 11 March 1957. Due to his financial crunch at home, he left the school and moved to main city of Kerman and started to work in construction site just to help his father who was in agricultural indebt. While working in construction site, he off and on listen the revolutionary sermons of Hojjat Katyab, a famous preacher of that time. And according to Solaimani, it was Hojjat, who inspired him to be revolutionary. Later, the General proven this revolutionary will and courage in labanon against Israel, in Syria against ISIS, in Yamen against Saudi and US sponsored rebels.

Military Career of General

He was regarded as the most powerful second person in Iran after the supreme leader Syed Ali Khamenei. As the Islamic Revolution of Iran's influence started to spread, the Sadam Hussain launched full blown war against the Iran and Solaimani's career began from this deadly war, and he thoroughly used his undying courage and efforts against the Western forces who are hand in hand with Iraqi regime, Sadam Hussain. During Iran Iraq war, he commanded 41Ist, division of Iranian military regiment, and later appointed as Quds commander IRGC.

War Against Israel

In 2006, when whole world was watching the war between Hezbollah and Israel, historians believe the general landed in labanon and was monitoring war situation between two countries. Under his military supervision, the Hezbollah (party of Allah) fired series of missiles to Israel. He is regarded as one of the main architect and war strategist behind Hezbollah against Israel.
In 2006, if Hezbollah, emerged as winner of the war against Israel, that too in 34 days, It was General Solaimani who left Iran and moved to Lebanon and pushed the Zionists out from Lebanon.
After the war was over, General appeared on Tehran based TV show, and he confessed, it was me who was monitoring the labanon through and through.

Role of Commander in Syrian Crisis

The General played a pivotal role in Syrian crises too, the major challenges he faced in the final years of his life was the sudden emergence of ISIS in the middle East. When Syria was becoming the breeding ground of terrorism during Assad’s regime, being funded by western allies. Within no time, the new front of terrorism on the name Jihad (ISIS) started to murder the Civilians by chanting Allahu Akbar (God Is Great). After taking major cities of Syria, the ISIS started to move with sophisticated weapons towards borders of Iraq.
With the killing thousands of civilians, rapping of women in thousands, on the name (Jihad ud Niqa). They were about to take sacred shrine of Third imam of Shia Imam Hussain (as). All lost their hope, in such circumstances The shadow, Solaimani became the hope of hopeless. He picked up thousands of Shia youth volunteers from regions of world and United them under one banner, named them Mudafiyani Haram ( Defenders of Holy shrine). These Fatimi, zainabi, Hydria, volunteers wiped out the ISIS in days and saved the Iraq and middle East within no time. He reshaped the middle East and strengthened the military position of Iran through his military campaign against Western backed terrorists.

Hope of Oppressed

From the beginning he remained steadfast in supporting the Palestinians. Despite facing harshest sanctions from the West, General supported Militarily, diplomatically and politically to Palestine. And Hamas, an armed group of Palestine confessed that Iran is fully supporting them against Israel. Same in the Yamen, when 41 Muslim countries gathered in Riyadh, to form IMA (Islamic Military Alliance) against the resistance of Yamen, under the Solaimani, Ansarullah (Supporters of God) Yamen, an armed group fight against coalition forces of Saudi Arabia.
In consecutive six years war, the Yamen is retaliating at all fronts to Saudi based rent forces.

Conclusion

Despite arch rivalry with Riyadh, the Solaimani wanted to forge a partnership with them and wanted to create Muslim major power in middle East that could have challenged to the Western hegemony. For his valuable contribution to Islamic Republic of Iran, he was titled as 'Living Martyr' (Zinda Shaheed) ' Ashtarei Zamaah' (The era of Malik Ashtar).
He was bagged with prestigious awards of Iran including Zulkikar. He had unique quality, most of the Generals of the world stay in air conditioned rooms and instruct their soldiers. But, he was the one who remained on front lines against the enemies and emerged as undying hero in middle East. Therefore his enemies called him " Nemesis". Physically, the United States assassinated the General by deadly air strikes. But, he had strengthened the number revolutionary movements across the globe which would continue to challenge the oppressors of the time.
