As part of its promotional campaign, Jammu & Kashmir Tourism Department today organized a cycling event at Sabarmati River front.

Officers of the Tourism Department comprising Natasha Kalsotra, Joint Director, Tourism Jammu and Masarat Hashim, CEO, Pahalgam Development Authority were present on the occasion. Besides representatives of local travel trade fraternity, local boys wearing tourism promotional outfits participated in the event.

The officers, among other aspects, also briefed the participants about the addition of new destinations besides formulating a new film policy. They shared the post Covid scenario in Jammu & Kashmir and highlighted positive steps taken by the administration for the safety of the tourism stakeholders including vaccination campaigns and capacity building measures.

All the relevant information was shared with the representatives of the Film Industry in order to encourage them to visit and shoot in J&K.

They were also briefed about the tourism products & upcoming 75 festivals scheduled to be organized soon.
