Tral shuts for fourth consecutive day against militant killings

A complete shutdown is being observed in Tral for the fourth consecutive day against the killings of militants in an encounter at Hafoo Village of Tral on Sunday.

All the shops and other commercial establishments remained closed in the town while public transport was also off the road.

Earlier on Saturday, encounter took place in Hafoo Village,  which lasted for 24 hours , resulted the killings of two militants namely Auqib Molvi of Hayuna Tral and Abu Usama of Pakistan.

People in large number are continuously visiting the house of slain Hizbul Mujahideen militant Auqib Molvi of Hayuna Tral to offer condolences and sympathies with the family.

The locals while talking to Brighter Kashmir said that the debris on encounter site has not been removed yet which poses threat to the locals as unexploded explosive material might be there. They have requested the authorities to restore the site as early as possible.
