In a landmark medical achievement, the Department of Urology and the Department of Anesthesiology & Critical Care at the Super Speciality Hospital, Government Medical College Srinagar, have successfully treated two 7 & 8-month-old infants with renal calculi using Extra Corporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL). Dr Tanveer Iqbal (Associate Professor Urology) said that the procedure’s were completed without complications, and the infant’s were discharge after one day.
