Police on Friday said that it have arrested two persons involved in assault incident in Nowgam area of Central Kashmir's Srinagar district.

The Srinagar police wrote on micro-blogging platform X, " Police has taken cognizance of an incident resulting in grievous injuries to one individual upon being beaten by cricket bat in Madankha, Nowgam.
FIR No. 74/2024 u/s 191(2), 191(3), 126(2), 131, 109 BNS stands registered in PS Nowgam.Investigation into the case has been initiated. Two accused persons have been arrested and efforts are on to arrest the other accused, reads the post.
