Appealing international community to play a meaningful role for helping resolve the vexed issue in accordance with the wishes and aspirations of Kashmiris, Hurriyat Conference (M) Thursday termed the unresolved Kashmir issue not only a danger for the India-Pakistan subcontinent but to entire south Asia.

In a statement issued to Brighter Kashmir, Waza said “The martyrdom of the youth as the shinning beacon of the ongoing resistance movement. Thesepeople had sacrificed their youth for a great cause and left people with a heavy burden to fulfill the mission they were striving for.”
On the occasion, Chairman Hurriyat (M) Mirwaiz Umar Farooq talked to the family members of the slain youth over phone and while expressing sympathy and solidarity with them said “people and the resistance leadership are duty bound to take the mission of the martyrs to its logical conclusion”.
The Mirwaiz said Hurriyat was fighting both at the political and diplomatic levels to fulfill the mission of the people of Kashmir “for which they were offering selfless sacrifices of their lives and properties and the mission of the martyrs would be taken to its final destination.”
He said the primary responsibility of the Hurriyat leadership was to ensure that the vexed Kashmir issue was resolved as per the wishes and aspirations of Kashmiris and promised that the sacrifices of tens of thousands of “martyrs” would not be allowed to go waste.
