The new Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) government has started making difference with the past SP-BSP regimes, as now ministers are travelling in the state capital without using hooters or sirens on their official vehicles.

The police escort, travelling with ministers, have also been asked not to use hooters during the travel.

The unique system was first adopted by Health Minister Sidharthnath Singh, who after taking oath, had asked his driver and security personnel not to use hooters during travel.

Later yesterday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanth too appreciated the move at the meeting of the Ministers and asked all others to follow it.

Meanwhile, most of the ministers today reached their officers before 0930 hrs to comply on the direction given by the Chief Minister to reach their offices by 0930 hrs so that it should be followed by the secretariat employees too.

Lucknow(Central) MLA Brajesh Pathak , who has been made Law and Alternative Energy Minister, was among the first to reach the Secretariat along with another Upendra Tiwari. Mr Pathak represented the Central Lucknow area, under which the Secretariat comes.
