Waheed Para formally arrested by NIA

After being questioned for two days, senior People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Waheed Ur Rehman Para was formally arrested on Wednesday, by National Investigation Agency (NIA), top sources said.

A senior official in NIA confirmed that Waheed, the youth wing leader of PDP was formally arrested, in the arrest case of suspended J&K police DySP Davinder Singh with militants.

Waheed has undergone questioning for two days in New Delhi, after being summoned by the agency under section 160 CPC.(KDC)
