The Department of Youth Services & Sports Samba organised an inter school district level competition for U 14 & U 17 Boys and girls in the discipline of basketball at High School Jatwal and Judo Indoor Stadium Samba
The event was held under the control of Dharmveer Singh DYSSO Samba.
The DYSSO addressed the participants and advised them to play the game with true sportsmanship and follow the rules and regulations which govern them.
A pledge to fight against drug abuse was also taken by the students.
About 105 student players from different schools of district Samba participated in basketball and 39 girls participated in Jodo.
Today’s Result: U/17 yr Rich Harvest Bari Brahmana defeated APS Samba by 7 points.
U/14 yrs: APS Samba defeated Rich Harvest Bari Brahmana by 11 points and won the final match and clinched the trophy.
