Zainakadal Ward in Srinagar city has topped the civic body Srinagar Municipal Corporation’s (SMC) cleanliness and sanitation chart. Magarmal Ward has been categorized as the ‘poorest’ one.
In ward wise cleanliness ranking, Zainakadal Ward (06) has obtained 277.5 marks out of 300. Parimpora and Hawal wards have been ranked 2nd and 3rd respectively.
Zainakadal ward is being taken care by ward officer Mukhtar Ahmed Khan. Sanitary Inspector of Zaina Kadal Ward Showkat Hussain told news agency Kashmir News Trust that they have started a drive to keep the ward neat and clean and this ongoing drive will surely yield positive results.
