
Continuing their commitment to community well-being, the 117th Battalion CRPF conducted another successful free medical camp, this time at Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Natipora, under the Civic Action Plan of Srinagar Sector.
The camp, inaugurated by Sh. Biplab Sarkar, Commandant, 117Bn CRPF, witnessed the dedicated service of five doctors, including two nominated by the Zonal Medical Officer, Batmaloo, and three from CRPF. A total of 205 walk-in patients received medical care during the event.
In attendance were Sh. Abhiram Pankaj, Second In Command, Sh. Mrityunjay Kumar, Deputy Commandant, and Sh. T. Rabichandra, AC of 117Bn. The event was marked by the gracious presence of Ms. Jameela Akhter, Principal of Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Natipora, who generously provided the school's campus for this noble cause. On this occasion, Commandant 117 Bn handed over a first aid kit with essential medicines to the principal for the school's use.
Prominent residents from the locality expressed their appreciation for CRPF's efforts in organizing such impactful medical camps. Sh. Biplab Sarkar, Commandant 117Bn CRPF, emphasized the unit's dedication to reaching out to the local community and providing free medical assistance, especially with the changing weather and the onset of winters.
Sh. Biplab Sarkar highlighted that this marks the fourth medical camp organized by the unit, with the objective of connecting with locals and addressing their concerns. Under the guidance of Sh. Ajay Kr. Yadav, IG, Srinagar Sector, similar medical camps are being conducted across Central Kashmir, benefitting residents in Srinagar, Badgam, and Ganderbal districts.
The fifth camp in the series is scheduled on 14th November at Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Jawahar Nagar. CRPF remains committed to enhancing community health and looks forward to continued support from local partners in these endeavors.
