Arham Parray, a talented trainee at the Khelo India Wushu Centre in Shopian, has etched his name in history by winning the Gold Medal at the 68th SGFI Wushu Nationals held in Baghwati Nagar, Jammu. He became the first-ever Wushu athlete from District Shopian to achieve this remarkable feat.

Competing in the -70kg weight category, Arham displayed exceptional skill and determination throughout the competition. He fought four tough bouts, eventually reaching the final, where he faced his opponent from Manipur. Arham outclassed his competitor, securing the top spot and clinching the Gold Medal.

His outstanding performance has been widely praised, earning recognition from all corners. Arham's victory marks a significant achievement in the sporting landscape of Shopian.
