
Kohima, Aug 6: : In a powerful move to empower youth and drive social change, the Assam Rifles, in collaboration with ACTS Connect and the Department of Social Welfare, Government of Nagaland, launched the third edition of their flagship awareness campaign, “Breaking the Silence 3.0”, at Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Kohima.
The event marked a renewed commitment to tackling critical social issues such as drug abuse, mental health stigma, gender-based violence, and the need for open dialogue among young people. Students, educators, local leaders, and officials gathered in large numbers, reflecting the growing momentum behind the initiative.
“Breaking the Silence 3.0” aims to inspire youth to speak up, take action, and become agents of change in their communities. Through interactive sessions, motivational talks, workshops, and cultural performances, the campaign creates safe spaces for young voices to be heard and supported.
