Doda, Aug 4:Zone Doda emerged victorious to clinch the Inter Zonal District Level Boys U/17 Cricket Tournament title, while Zone Bhaderwah finished as runners-up and Zone Ghat secured third place.

The tournament was organised by Youth Services & Sports District Doda as per the Annual Activity Calendar issued by the Directorate of Youth Services & Sports, J&K UT.
The tournament was conducted under the able guidance of Director General, YSS J&K, Ms. Anuradha Gupta, with the support of Joint Director, Jammu, Sh. Inderjeet Singh, and under the overall supervision of DYSSO Doda, Sh. Ashok Kumar.
In the championship final, Zone Bhaderwah won the toss and elected to bat first, posting 107/6 in 15 overs. Arush Dutt top-scored with 20 runs, followed by Usman Tak (19) and Chetanya (17).
For Zone Doda, Muzamil and Shoaib were the pick of the bowlers, claiming two wickets each.
In reply, Zone Doda chased down the target with confidence, powered by a match-winning knock of 41 runs by Sachin, while Shabzaib contributed 15 runs to guide his team to a memorable victory.
For Zone Bhaderwah, Chetanya claimed two wickets and Farhan took one wicket.
With this triumph, Zone Doda lifted the championship trophy, Zone Bhaderwah finished as runners-up, and Zone Ghat secured third place, bringing the tournament to a successful conclusion and showcasing the emerging cricketing talent of District Doda.
