Residents of Surasyar are up in arms against dilapidated Srinagar Surasyar road which is in deep shambles since long time.

It is pertinently mentioned here that Srinagar Surasyar road has been in dilapidated conditions since long causing great inconvenience to the locals while the government seems to be in slumber.
The 30 Km long Srinagar Surasyar road has been in dilapidated condition since long but the Govt has shown a lackadaisical attitude to repair this road to facilitate vehicular movement.
The road has developed ditches and pot holes at many places making the journey in vehicles treacherous and risky especially for patients and pregnant women.
Due to pathetic condition of the road local populace face immense hardships to reach their respective destinations.
The residents accused the Govt for not maintaining the road and showing apathy over this issue.
“Patients besides general public face lot of difficulties. This problem manifolds during rainy season, thus making roads accident prone between Sursyar and Nowhar,” said one of the local.
Several people of Sursyuar alleged that they had called on higher ups several times with a complaint but our requests met with deaf ears, said Feroz Ahamd Mir.
The passenger vehicles have suffered damages due to bad condition of the roads.
“Our vehicles have got heavy damages due to dilapidated condition of the road,” a Sumo driver said.
The road is totally in dilapidated condition since long time, but the authorities have failed to even pay a visit to ascertain the damages of this road said Mehjeben a daily commuter
Meanwhile social activist Mohmmad Altaf urged government that Surayasr Srinagar road be repaired at an earliest to ease the worries of people of area.
He further said if the road has not been repaired immediately the people of the area will take streets to lodge the protests.
