
Over 200 athletes participate
The 6th Srinagar District Rope Skipping Championship 2025 concluded with great enthusiasm at Government Girls Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Khanyar, Srinagar. Over two action-packed days, more than 200 athletes—both boys and girls—participated in the championship, showcasing exceptional talent and sportsmanship.
The event was organized by the Rope Skipping Association of Jammu & Kashmir (RSAJK) and hosted by GHSS Khanyar. Muzamil Ahmad Dar (ZPEO Rainawari), along with several physical educators, presided over the medal distribution ceremony and congratulated the winners for their commendable performances.
Championship Highlights
Overall Champions (Girls Category): R.P. School, Lawaypora
Overall Champions (Boys Category): Woodland House School.
In his vote of thanks, Mohammad Sufiyan, General Secretary of RSAJK, expressed his gratitude to the participants, organizing team, and supporting institutions. He also announced that the Open Kashmir Rope Skipping Championship will be held at the scenic tourist destination Pahalgam in July 2025, further boosting enthusiasm for the sport in the region.
