The two-day Working Committee meeting of ruling National National Conference commenced on Thursday at the party headquarters, Nawa-i-Subh, Srinagar.

Chaired by Party President Farooq Abdullah, the session was attended by Vice President and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, along with all Working Committee members and special invitees.
The meeting will continue tomorrow, with deliberations focused on key organizational matters as well as pressing public issues.
“During the session, Working Committee members shared their insights and perspectives with the party leadership. The discussions will continue tomorrow as the party reviews organizational priorities and public concerns,” an NC spokesperson said.
The meeting is the first major organisational exercise after the NC suffered defeats in two assembly bypolls, including the Budgam seat, considered the party’s traditional stronghold.
Party chief spokesman and MLA Tanvir Sadiq told reporters that the party would issue a formal statement on what has been discussed in the two days meeting.
