A vehicle in the convoy of National Conference president and three-time former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah met with an accident near Dausa while en route to Ajmer Dargah sharif in Rajasthan.
According to reports, the incident occurred when a car escorting Abdullah hit a blue bull (Neel Gai) on the highway. The impact caused both front airbags of the vehicle to deploy.
However, there were no injuries in the accident and the convoy continued its journey after necessary checks.
Abdullah, who was traveling by road under Delhi Police escort, was safe. He later continued the journey.
Abdullah paid obeisance at Dargah shareef of Hazrat Khawaja Moinuddin Chishti (RA) in Ajmer Sharif.
Accompanied by party's Additional General Secretary Dr. Sheikh Mustafa Kamal and MLA Poonch Ajaz Ahmad Jan, Abdullah offered prayers at the shrine.
He prayed for peace and prosperity, specifically for people of Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh. He also prayed for the innocent people of Palestine, beseeching relief from their hardships.
Highlighting the significance of the spiritual guidance of Khawaja sahib,. Abdullah urged people to embrace the teachings and principles of Hazrat Khawaja Moinuddin Chishti (RA).
