Chrari Sharief , Nov 9: Glowing tribute were paid to prominent writer and shiekhul Alam Shinas , Assad Ullah Afaqi on his 11th death anniversary at an impressive literary event held at chrari sharief. The function was organised by Kashmir Markaz Adab - w- Saqafat . Prominent poet and writer Prof. Shad Ramzan presided the function . President Adbi Markaz Kamraz Mohd Amin Bhat was guest of honour. Writer Farooq Fazli also shared the presidium.
The function coincided with the foundation day of Life school, Chrari Sharief.
Writers Inayat Gul , Abdullah Muntazir and Ali Ahsan presented thought provoking literary papers on the life and literary works of late Assad Ullah Afaqi.
Speakers paid glowing tribute to Assad ullah Afaqi and highlighted his literary contribution in especially his research works on the poetry ( Shiekh Shruks ) of revered Hazrat Shiek Noor ud Din wali ( RA )
Students of Life foundation school , Chrari Sharief also participated in the function and paid rich tribute to Assad Ullah Afaqi.
Secretary Markaz Adab w Saqafat Inayat Gul conducted proceedings of the function.
