Two women staying at a hotel in Affarwat heights of ski-resort Gulmarg accused three men of attempting to tarnish their chastity after forcibly entering into the hotel room they were staying in along with their children.
The accused are Chairmen BDC Boniyar Bilal Ahmad Mir, Chairman Municipal Committee Baramulla Omar Azhar Kakro and Councilor Ashiq Hussain Ganaie while the women who have lodged a complaint at police station Gulmarg are both Councilors.
Sources said that these people had gone to Gulmarg for some work and later decided to stay at a hotel in Afarwat.
The two women in their complaint have alleged that three men barged into their hotel room, abused their children and tried to outrage their modesty.
A police official said that an FIR vide number 6/2020 under section 354, 452 IPC. (KNT)
