Kohima, April 16: The Assam Rifles under Spear Corps facilitated a solemn wreath-laying ceremony at the Commonwealth War Cemetery in Kohima, where members of the Athletics Federation of India (AFI) paid heartfelt tribute to soldiers who laid down their lives during World War II.

The ceremony was held at one of the most historic war memorial sites in India, which commemorates the fierce Battle of Kohima and the sacrifices made by Allied forces in the region.
