Man who was missing since a month, his body was found on Friday from NPHPC Dam in Uri area of North Kashmir's Baramulla district.

Officials told GNS that a man namely Bali Kumar(45) son of Bal Ram Kumar Resident of Bandi Brahmna Uri, was missing from his home since 20th January 2025.

In this regard family had also register a missing report in police station Uri. Continuing its searches, Police and civil defence today recovered body of the said person from National Hydroelectric Power Corporation Dam.

Meanwhile, body of the deceased will be handed over to his family after medico-legal formalities are completed, they added
