
The Chinar Corps concluded the first edition of the Chinar Premier League (CPL) Cricket Tournament 2025 at Gen Bipin Rawat Stadium, Baramulla with a sense of bonhomie, sportsmanship & pride. The event marked a significant milestone in the region’s sporting calendar where this year’s tournament saw record participation from 64 teams from across the Kashmir Valley. The successful conduct reinforced CPL 2025 as one of the most competitive and widely followed cricket tournaments of the region which will inspire the talented youth of the Valley to follow their dream.
The grand finale showcased an intense contest between MLA Gym Khana and Ahmed Cricket Club where Ahmed Cricket Club triumphed over MLA Gym Khana and lifted the coveted CPL 2025 Trophy with a cash prize of Rs 2 lacs to a rapturous applause.
The ceremony was graced by the GOC, Dagger Division alongside distinguished guests from the local community. CPL 2025 celebrated cricketing talent from across Kashmir Valley and served as a platform for further traditional strengthening the bond between the Indian Army and the local populace.
