Srinagar, July 12: Sadhus and saints from different parts of the country participating in the annual Shri Amaranth Ji Yatra have expressed deep spiritual fulfilment after undertaking the sacred pilgrimage and lauded the Jammu and Kashmir administration and the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board (SASB) for the smooth conduct of the Yatra and the excellent facilities provided to pilgrims.

Sharing their experiences, the saints described the pilgrimage to the holy cave shrine as a profound spiritual journey that strengthens faith, promotes inner peace and inspires selfless devotion.
Many of them said the atmosphere along the Yatra routes reflects India's rich spiritual heritage and the spirit of unity, where devotees from different regions, languages and backgrounds walk together with a common purpose.
The saints appreciated the extensive arrangements made by the administration and the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board, saying that the seamless coordination among various departments has ensured a safe, comfortable and well-managed pilgrimage.
They particularly praised the efficient registration process, traffic management, accommodation facilities, sanitation, uninterrupted power and water supply, medical services, disaster management preparedness and security arrangements along both the traditional Pahalgam route and the Baltal route.
The pilgrims also acknowledged the dedicated services being rendered by police personnel, security forces, healthcare workers, disaster response teams, sanitation staff, volunteers and langar organisers, who have been working round the clock to facilitate the smooth movement of devotees.
Several saints said the warmth and hospitality extended by the local people of Kashmir have made the pilgrimage even more memorable.
"The love and respect shown by the people here reflect the true spirit of Indian culture. We have received immense cooperation throughout the journey," a sadhu from Uttar Pradesh said.
Another pilgrim from Madhya Pradesh said the arrangements this year were among the best he had experienced during the pilgrimage.
"From security to healthcare, accommodation and cleanliness, everything has been organised systematically. The administration and Shrine Board deserve appreciation for ensuring that devotees can focus entirely on their spiritual journey," he said.
A group of saints from Maharashtra said the Yatra is not merely a religious pilgrimage but also a symbol of national unity and harmony.
"The holy cave of Baba Barfani draws devotees from every corner of the country. It reminds us that faith has the power to unite people beyond all differences," one of them remarked.
Many pilgrims also appreciated the deployment of medical teams, emergency response units and rescue personnel at vulnerable locations, saying their presence has enhanced the confidence of devotees undertaking the arduous journey.
The saints prayed for peace, prosperity and harmony across the country and expressed gratitude to everyone associated with organising the pilgrimage.
They also urged devotees to maintain the sanctity of the holy shrine by following safety guidelines, protecting the fragile Himalayan environment and cooperating with the authorities for the successful completion of the Yatra.
The Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra, one of the country's most revered annual pilgrimages, continues to witness a steady flow of devotees from across India, with authorities maintaining elaborate arrangements to ensure the pilgrimage is conducted safely, smoothly and peacefully.
