In a grand ceremony held at BN Mullik Auditorium, Assam Rifles athletes were felicitated by the Hon’ble Home Minister, Shri Amit Shah, in recognition of their exceptional achievements at a recent national-level sporting event. The occasion celebrated the remarkable contributions of the Assam Rifles team, which brought immense pride to both the nation and the Force.
Maj Gen Jai Singh Bainsla, SM, Additional Director General (ADG) of Assam Rifles, attended the event along with a 12-member team of athletes who represented the Indian contingent with distinction. The athletes demonstrated exceptional skill, resilience, and sportsmanship, securing a total of 19 medals—comprising 13 Gold, 4 Silver, and 2 Bronze.
The impressive medal tally underscored the Assam Rifles’ enduring spirit of excellence and commitment to physical fitness.
