Imphal, May 6: As part of the Op Sindoor anniversary celebrations, Assam Rifles under Spear Corps organised a two-day outreach programme titled “A Day with Company Commander” at Kangkap in Churachandpur district, Manipur, on 02–03 May 2026.

The initiative saw active participation of 54 students and 8 staff members, aimed at fostering a sense of discipline, teamwork, and awareness about national service among youth in the region.
The programme included interactive sessions with Assam Rifles personnel, where students were briefed on the role of the force in maintaining peace and security in the Northeast. A motivational film screening further highlighted themes of courage, service, and nation-building.
A weapon display session provided participants with an opportunity to understand the equipment and operational capabilities of the force, while recreational activities and group games encouraged engagement and teamwork.
The outreach programme formed part of Assam Rifles’ continued efforts to strengthen civil-military relations and inspire young minds through positive engagement and exposure to disciplined service life.
