AR inaugurates upgraded Rajya Sainik board office in Imphal

Imphal, Oct 26: In a significant move to strengthen support for retired personnel, Assam Rifles under Spear Corps inaugurated the upgraded Rajya Sainik Board Office at Lamphelpat, Imphal. The event witnessed participation from around 70 individuals, including 15 veterans, 20 Veer Naris, and 30 ex-servicemen, reflecting the organization’s commitment to the welfare of those who served the nation.
The upgraded office is expected to streamline services for ex-servicemen and their families, offering better access to pension support, welfare schemes, and rehabilitation programs. The inauguration also provided a platform for veterans and Veer Naris to interact with officials, share their concerns, and strengthen the bond between Assam Rifles and the retired community.
Highlighting the importance of veteran welfare, Assam Rifles emphasized continued support and engagement for those who have dedicated their lives to the nation. The event marked a step forward in ensuring that ex-servicemen receive timely assistance and recognition for their invaluable contributions.
