Imphal, Mar 2: In a heartwarming initiative, the AssamRifles under SpearCorps organised a special educational and recreational tour for the children of Hope Home Orphanage and Shelter Home, managed by MANEDA, in Senapati, #Manipur. The programme aimed to provide the children with exposure to learning, culture, and recreation outside their usual environment.

The day began with a visit to a local Water Amusement Park, where the children participated in fun-filled activities designed to encourage teamwork, confidence, and enjoyment. Smiles and laughter marked the morning as the children engaged in swimming, water games, and other recreational activities under the supervision of Assam Rifles personnel.
Later, the group visited S. Molnom Village, renowned as the cleanest village in #Manipur. The children were introduced to the village’s unique waste management and hygiene practices, inspiring them to appreciate the importance of cleanliness and sustainable living. Local residents shared insights about community-driven initiatives, providing an educational experience alongside the recreational outing.
The initiative reflects Assam Rifles’ commitment to community engagement and social responsibility in the region, focusing on the welfare of children and promoting educational, cultural, and recreational awareness.
