
Kohima, April 13: Assam Rifles provided prompt medical assistance to two college students from Ungma Village in Nagaland who were injured in a road accident on 12 April 2026.
Following the incident, both students sustained severe foot injuries and were quickly brought to the Unit Hospital by response teams. Medical personnel immediately initiated treatment, ensuring stabilization of their condition and preventing further complications.
One of the injured students, who was found unconscious, was given emergency care and stabilised by the medical team before being evacuated to a higher medical centre for advanced treatment. The second student also received necessary first aid and was referred for further examination and specialist care.
