Demonstrating exceptional courage and readiness, troops of the Assam Rifles acted swiftly to prevent a major tragedy when a massive fire broke out in Laju village, Arunachal Pradesh. The blaze, reportedly triggered by an electrical short circuit, engulfed six houses and posed a serious threat to the entire village.
Reacting as first responders, the Assam Rifles personnel immediately swung into action, evacuating civilians from danger zones and deploying firefighting equipment to contain the flames. Their prompt and coordinated efforts successfully brought the fire under control, preventing any loss of life and halting the spread of the fire to nearby homes and structures.
The villagers expressed heartfelt gratitude for the timely and heroic intervention by the troops, whose actions not only saved lives but also preserved a large portion of the village from devastation.
