Ranjit Singh, who was earlier working as a labourer in a brick factory, saw a turning point in his life in May 2024 when he enrolled in the Homeland Security 1st Batch programme, an Assam Rifles-led youth empowerment initiative.
The programme focused on equipping participants with essential life and employability skills, including discipline, communication abilities, personality development, and job-oriented training. Through structured mentorship and consistent training, Ranjit gradually developed confidence and professional competence.

Following successful completion of the programme, Ranjit Singh secured employment as a Senior Supervisor at British Petroleum in Pune, marking a significant milestone in his personal and professional journey.
