Srinagar, Jan 8: 23-years old Arbeen Farooq Akhoon, a resident of Baramulla, has emerged as a role model for young women aspiring to balance education, personal responsibilities, and artistic ambition. Her journey from school-level achievements to literary recognition signifies the impact of dedication and determination.

Arbeen’s journey began at Budding Bloom Experimental School, where her academic brilliance first came to light. She excelled in her studies, achieving outstanding results in her 10th-grade examinations.
She continued her education at Saint Joseph Higher Secondary School, completing her 12th grade with equally impressive performance.
During her school years, her passion for writing was evident. She regularly contributed articles to school magazines—an early sign of the path she would eventually embrace.
After completing school, Arbeen pursued a Bachelor of Science degree with Home Science as an additional subject. She is currently continuing her academic journey through postgraduate studies. As a Home Science student, she developed exceptional baking skills and became known for her delicious cookies, earning admiration from both teachers and peers. Alongside academics, she actively participated in debates and writing competitions, reflecting her versatility, confidence, and dedication to learning.
During this formative phase, she received constant guidance and encouragement from Professor Jasdeep Singh, whose mentorship played a vital role in shaping her ambitions and self-belief.
A significant turning point in her life came after her marriage. Rather than limiting her aspirations, his husband’s unwavering support encouraged her to pursue her dreams with greater determination.
Arbeen authored her acclaimed book,” Her Infinite Universe: A Woman’s Journey,” which explores the struggles, growth, and triumphs of women across different stages of life. The book stands as a powerful tribute to women’s resilience, strength, and capacity to overcome challenges.
Family support has been a cornerstone of Arbeen’s success. From her parents and relatives in the Akhoon family of Jeety Khawajabagh to her in-laws, she has been surrounded by encouragement at every step. She gracefully balances her responsibilities as a wife, daughter, and daughter-in-law while continuing to nurture her academic and creative passions.
Her achievements have earned her widespread recognition. Arbeen has received several appreciation awards for her academic excellence, debating skills, and writing contributions. She currently serves as the Chairwoman of the Young Authors Community.
