Senapati, Oct 28: As part of Operation Sadbhavana, formations under Spear Corps have undertaken initiatives to strengthen educational and community infrastructure in Senapati district of Manipur, focusing on digital learning, skill development and improved administrative efficiency.

The initiatives include dedicating a smart classroom, providing computers to facilitate digital training and supplying information technology equipment to support local administration.
The smart classroom is aimed at enhancing the learning environment by enabling students to access technology-assisted education and modern teaching methods. The facility is expected to support interactive learning and improve students’ familiarity with digital tools.
The distribution of computers is intended to expand access to digital training and help community members develop essential computer skills. The initiative seeks to bridge the digital divide and create opportunities for learning, capacity-building and future employment.
In a parallel effort, IT equipment was provided to strengthen local administrative infrastructure and improve the delivery of services. Access to appropriate technology can help streamline routine work, facilitate information management and enhance operational efficiency.
These initiatives reflect the Indian Army’s continued efforts under Operation Sadbhavana to support communities through education, infrastructure development and capacity-building programmes.
By investing in digital education and strengthening local institutions, the Spear Corps aims to empower communities in Senapati district, expand access to modern learning resources and contribute to sustainable development.
The initiatives underscore the role of community-oriented programmes in creating opportunities for young people and supporting local development in Manipur.
