Jammu , Sep 26: Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, PVSM, AVSM, SM, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Northern Command, visited the General Area Ramnagar to review the prevailing security situation and operational preparedness of the formations and units deployed in the region.

During the visit, the Army Commander was briefed on the operational environment, security measures and preparedness to meet emerging challenges. He reviewed the effectiveness of the existing security mechanisms and stressed the importance of maintaining a high level of alertness and readiness at all times.
Lt Gen Pratik Sharma commended the troops for their swift, precise and professional execution of a recent successful operation, appreciating their courage, dedication and operational competence. He lauded the personnel for maintaining high standards of professionalism while carrying out their assigned responsibilities.The Army Commander underscored the need for sustained vigilance, proactive security measures and seamless inter-agency coordination to effectively address emerging threats and ensure a secure environment. He also emphasised the importance of close coordination among all stakeholders for strengthening the security grid and maintaining peace and stability in the region.
He expressed confidence in the troops and encouraged them to continue discharging their duties with dedication, discipline and professionalism.
