Sports is a brilliant platform to develop bonhomie, camaraderie and friendships. An Inter Village Volleyball Competition was organised for the youth of Khanpet, Ekmanpura, Gadakhod, Odina, Talarzu and Singhpura at Khanpet Army Camp on 18 & 19 Dec 2019 to promote sports.
The matches were played enthusiastically by all the participating teams in a friendly and informal environment. The youth also got an opportunity to interact with each other in a light hearted banter and develop strong sporting ties. The spirit with which the teams played reflected their love for the sport and skill. The final match was toughly contested between Singhpura and Khanpet in which Khanpet team lifted the trophy.
The matches ended with refreshments and prize distribution. This endeavour of Khanpet Army Camp will go a long way in providing the youth a platform to showcase their talent and sporting skill.
