Anjaw , June 17: As part of ongoing youth engagement initiatives under Spear Corps, Dao Division and Assam Rifles formations conducted vibrant outreach programmes across the Northeast aimed at inspiring students and strengthening their connection with nation-building efforts.
In Anjaw district of Arunachal Pradesh, troops from Dao Division interacted with students and briefed them on the achievements of Operation Sindoor, highlighting aspects of operational preparedness, coordination and the role of the armed forces in safeguarding national security. The session was followed by a weapon and equipment display, giving students a first-hand view of modern military capabilities and fostering a sense of discipline, awareness and national pride.
Students actively participated in the interaction, asking questions about military life, training and career opportunities in the armed forces. The initiative aimed to motivate young minds to develop confidence, responsibility and a deeper appreciation for the role of the Indian Army.
In a parallel engagement, Assam Rifles organised a Youth Engagement Programme themed “You Are the Future of Nagaland” at Thangjam in Nagaland for 124 students. The programme focused on leadership development, personal growth and nation-building values.
Speakers encouraged students to remain focused on education, discipline and positive life goals while emphasising the importance of becoming responsible citizens contributing to the progress of the country. Interactive sessions and motivational talks helped students understand the value of hard work, integrity and community service.
Assam Rifles officials said such initiatives are designed to bridge the gap between youth and security forces while nurturing trust, awareness and aspiration among students in remote and border regions.
Both programmes reflected the continued commitment of Spear Corps formations towards empowering youth, promoting national integration and encouraging constructive engagement across the Northeast region.
