Since 2007, the spring season opens its wings with the aroma of the tulip garden. This year on 26th March, the department of floriculture is going to welcome visitors with full energy and enthusiasm.

Tulip has great charm and fame throughout all corners of the world and attracts millions of visitors every year.
This garden may remain open throughout the calendar year, but nature—the phenomenon of nature—won't allow it because the flowers bloom only once during the year.
Why is the tulip garden famous in all corners of the world?
Every year since 2007, this garden has remained the highlight of electronic media, print media, and social media.
The tulip garden has unique identification among the tourist destinations as this garden is considered the largest tulip garden in Asia.
The tulip garden was inaugurated by Ghulam Nabi Azad, then chief minister of the J&K erstwhile state, in the year 2007. This garden is also known as the Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden.
The famous and charming garden nestled between the Dal Lake and the Zabarwan Mountains in the heart of the valley in Kashmir.

How does it Look?

The tulip garden has a vast diversity of different species of different tulips. This year 50000 tulips were imported from the Netherlands; hopefully this will enhance its charm to certain limits. There are 74 varieties of tulips, including two new varieties added this year.

The tulip garden is really charming, sensuous, beautiful, lavish, endowed, and nature has bestowed the whole valley.
The Tulip Garden not only attracts the visitors from all corners of the world but also attracts the locals as well. Locals of the valley have been waiting since it's news circulating on media platforms.
From 26 onwards, the banks of the Dal Lake witnessed traffic jams, and hopefully the concerned traffic department has made all the possible efforts to respite the visitors.
All the general public should have patience and give chances to outsiders to visit and catch the memories for a long time.
Almighty has blessed the Kashmir Valley in all the seasons, like in winter, spring, summer, and autumn as well.

What are the Attractions in Winter?

Winters are commonly cast their shadows with the snowfall, and every corner looks white, where every lush green pine of Pirpanjal looks whitish. During winters, Gulmarg and Doodhpathri are the famous tourist destinations that witness a huge rush of outsider visitors.
Gulmarg: The cable car (gondola) and winter sports activities of Gulmarg are the reasons for the tourists that they love to visit Gulmarg and catch their awesome memories for a lifetime.
Attraction in Spring
The tulip garden and the opening of famous Mughal gardens like Nishat Garden, Shalimar Garden, Pari Mahal, and Chashma Shahi attract the locals as well as the visitors from all corners of the world.
Attraction During Summers
Summers are so charming and sensuous in the Kashmir Valley. Summers has no alternative. Summers bestow peace of mind and provide a great chance to trekkers. During summers the eminent mountains of our panjal witness ample rush of campers and trekkers. Valley has great potential for the campers and for the trekkers from June to September.
