ARPS Lunglei hosts Vande Mataram painting contest

Lunglei, Aug 9: Assam Rifles organised a painting competition at Assam Rifles Public School (ARPS), Lunglei, Mizoram, on August 8 as part of commemorative activities marking 150 years of Vande Mataram.

The event provided students with a creative platform to express their understanding of the enduring significance of Vande Mataram and its association with patriotism, unity and national pride.
Students participated enthusiastically and showcased their artistic abilities through vibrant paintings reflecting the spirit of the national song, India's cultural heritage and the ideals of unity and patriotism.
The competition was aimed not only at encouraging creativity among young students but also at helping them connect with an important chapter of India's national journey. Through art, participants explored themes of national identity, cultural diversity and the collective spirit that binds the country together.
