
Agartala, April 27: Assam Rifles organised a workshop for teachers and parents of students of Assam Rifles Public School (ARPS), Agartala, aimed at strengthening educational engagement and improving communication between educators and families.
As part of the initiative, a specialised Teachers’ Workshop on Effective Communication was conducted by Burlington Publication. The session was led by noted resource person Mr Narottam Saikia from Kolkata, who shared practical insights and strategies to enhance classroom communication, student interaction, and collaborative learning practices.
The workshop focused on improving teaching effectiveness through better articulation, active engagement techniques, and the development of a more interactive and student-friendly learning environment. Participants were also guided on how to build stronger teacher-student relationships and encourage participatory learning in classrooms.
A total of 65 teachers took part in the programme and actively engaged in interactive sessions, discussions, and practical exercises designed to enhance their professional skills. The participants expressed appreciation for the training, noting that it would help them improve their teaching methods and create a more positive academic atmosphere.
