Ashraf Wani wins three ENBA awards

Ashraf Wani, Bureau Chief of the India Today Group in Jammu and Kashmir, brought laurels to the region by winning three prestigious awards at the 17th edition of the Exchange4media News Broadcasting Awards (ENBA), held on Saturday in New Delhi.

Wani received the Gold Award for Long Coverage of the Pahalgam terrorist attack, which was widely appreciated for its depth, accuracy and on-ground insight. His meticulous reporting highlighted the human impact of the attack while maintaining journalistic integrity and sensitivity.
He was also conferred the Golden Award for his comprehensive coverage of Operation Sindoor, a major security operation, where his reporting provided timely, credible and detailed information to viewers across the country.
In addition, Wani won the Bronze Award in the Field Reporting category, recognising his consistent excellence in frontline journalism under challenging and often high-risk conditions in Jammu and Kashmir.
The triple honour at one of India’s most prestigious television news awards underscores Ashraf Wani’s dedication, professionalism and contribution to responsible journalism.
