Assam Rafiles honors Maj Ralengnao Bob Khathing

Imphal, Manipur: The Assam Rifles, under Spear Corps, held a solemn Wreath Laying Ceremony at Valley View, Imphal on 18 March 2026 to pay tribute to Maj Ralengnao Bob Khathing, a distinguished army officer and visionary leader who made significant contributions to nation-building and administration in northeast India.

The ceremony was attended by the Hon’ble Governor of Manipur, Shri Ajay Kumar Bhalla, senior officers of the Assam Rifles, civil administration representatives, veterans, and local dignitaries. Wreaths were laid at the memorial to honor Maj Khathing’s legacy of service, leadership, and dedication to the region.
In conjunction with the tribute, the Governor released the second edition of Maj Ralengnao Bob Khathing’s biography, commemorating his life, achievements, and enduring impact on the armed forces and civil administration.
