Churachandpur, Aug 1: Assam Rifles, under Spear Corps, provided immediate relief assistance to 14 families affected by heavy rainfall in Hingtam village of Manipur's Churachandpur district on July 30, reaffirming its commitment to humanitarian assistance and community welfare.

Responding promptly to the situation, Assam Rifles personnel coordinated with local village representatives to assess the needs of the affected families and ensure timely distribution of relief material.

Essential supplies, including groceries, milk and tinned food, were provided to help meet the immediate requirements of families impacted by the heavy rains and ensure food security during the difficult period.
