Assam Rifles assists burn injury victim

Tening , June 17: Assam Rifles provided prompt medical assistance to a resident of NTU Village in Tening area of Peren district after he sustained burn injuries at his workplace.

According to officials, the incident was reported to Assam Rifles personnel deployed in the area, following which troops swiftly reached the spot and administered immediate first aid to the injured individual. The timely response helped stabilise the victim and provided necessary relief before further medical care was arranged.
After initial treatment on site, the personnel facilitated the injured person’s transfer for advanced medical attention, ensuring continuity of care and timely intervention.
Officials said the quick response reflects the force’s commitment to humanitarian assistance and emergency support in remote and difficult terrain, where access to medical facilities can often be limited.
Assam Rifles further stated that such outreach efforts are part of its sustained engagement with local communities, aimed at strengthening trust, providing assistance during emergencies and supporting welfare initiatives in border and remote regions.
The initiative once again highlighted the force’s dual role in operational duties and community support, reinforcing its longstanding bond with the people of the region.
